MaxFisch.com, a Dominatrix Directory containing a FemDom chat board called “The Hang,” existed from the late 1990s until 2024. The Dominatrix Directory listings were not updated for many years, but the very popular chat board, “The Hang,” was the "go to" place for information and discussion with and about professional Dominatrixes. MaxFisch.com has a storied, often sordid, history and died a very slow death in the years leading to its final demise. Participants stayed active until the bitter end. Now many have moved to The Buzz at Domina.ms, which utilizes the same format as Max Fisch's “The Hang.” I mention Max Fisch here (not to be confused with the now defunct NYC bar of the same era) because it played a notable role in recent professional Dominatrix history, and the younger crowd may hear about it from ProDommes and submissives in the know.

Founded in 1996. ASACP is a non-profit organization dedicated to online child protection, battling child pornography through various means.

The Eulenspiegel Society (TES)
Founded in 1971. TES is a not-for-profit organization located in NYC which promotes sexual liberation for all adults. Especially for people who enjoy consensual BDSM.
Founded in 1991. The Free Speech Coalition is the nonprofit, non-partisan trade association of the adult entertainment industry based in the United States. Their mission is to protect the rights and freedoms of both the workers and businesses in the adult industry.
